If you are looking for a natural and safe form of treatment, which is tailored to you individually, homeopathy might be for you. I studied classical homeopathy at Westminster University, as the main part of my BSc (Hons) degree, and have found it to be a gentle but powerful way of dealing with complex physical, mental and emotional complaints.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine which uses highly diluted substances, given mainly in tablet form, with the aim of triggering the body’s innate healing response. It is based on the principle that you can treat ‘like with like’, which means a substance, which causes symptoms when taken in large doses, can be used in small amounts to treat those same symptoms. For example, drinking too much coffee can cause sleeplessness, so according to this principle, when made into a homeopathic medicine, coffee could be used to treat a person with problems falling asleep.
Homeopathic remedies come from nature to treat you naturally, without the side effects conventional medicines can have. This is why it is particularly safe to use during pregnancy, birth and beyond. We treat you as a whole person, not just your disease.
Consultations last 60-90 minutes and are child friendly with lots of interesting toys, books and crayons to keep your little one busy. I have a particular interest in seeing children and babies in my clinic and to watch them grow and reach their full potential. Family packages are available – please ask.
